Smy Lisboa Hotel

The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had a good variety of options. The hotel had a rooftop terrace bar, a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The location of the hotel was convenient, with transport links nearby, giving us options to explore the city.

The rooftop bar was not open, despite being advertised throughout the hotel. There were some issues with the room, such as a bottom sheet that was too small for the bed and a smaller room than expected, causing discomfort with limited space.

We had an incredible stay at this apartment in Funchal. The cleanliness was impeccable, and everything was well-maintained and new. The hotel facilities were top-notch, providing us with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and all its shops, restaurants, and bars. Transportation was a breeze, thanks to the convenient public transport options nearby. The staff was exceptional, with the owner going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They provided us with great recommendations for bars and restaurants, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this city.

the hotel staff quickly offered me an alternative room, which they assured me was equivalent to the one I had booked. Although there was a problem with the bathroom in this room, the staff promptly addressed it and moved me to a better suite. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with plenty of towels and soap. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in providing directions and information about the area.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short distance from the airport and easily accessible to all the main attractions in the city. We loved that there was a Nepali restaurant nearby, Everest Montanha, which served delicious food. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips and even a shuttle bus to the city center. The breakfast selection was impressive and we enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace.

We did find that the dinner menu was quite limited and the quality of the food could have been better.

Staying here was an excellent experience! This place is situated right in the touristic centre. I loved the fact that I could walk to the main attractions. The service was great too. I requested room service which was provided promptly and they were very accommodating to my needs. Additionally, the staff was very welcoming and professional. What made this hotel stand out was the helpfulness of the staff at the reception desk. They provided me with maps and tours/ticket assistance. The room itself was delightful. I enjoyed using the in-room safe and the air conditioning was perfect.

Helpful & friendly staff, free transfers to city centre. Room not too small, nice area with restaurants & park. Quiet rooms with airplane views. Attentive male reception staff. Spacious & comfortable rooms, helpful maintenance officer. Quiet hotel, comfy beds. Good breakfast variety, efficient staff. Convenient location, nearby park. a pleasant stay.

The breakfast selection was amazing, catering to various palates. The staff strike the perfect balance between being helpful and giving guests their space. The hotel's location is perfect, as it is close to the airport and not far from the city center.
